CASE STUDY: Quicken Loans Golf Tournament
THE NEED: A cost efficient catering tent & trash pick up/disposable trash can service.
Quicken Loans Golf Tournament was in need of a tenting solution in order to maximize their outdoor picnic area in front of the clubhouse for their caterer. They expected over 2,000 attendants at the event and needed a sufficient amount of disposable trash cans to be placed around the golf course.
THE PROBLEM: The golf course did not have enough existing trash receptacles and no staff to dispose of the trash.
The golf course only had a handful of metal trash receptacles near and around the club house. They needed a fast and affordable trash solution that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but efficient.
THE SOLUTION: Distribution 20 gallon disposable trash cans & 10 support staff
ERDC provided the tournament with 100x disposable 20 gallon trash cans throughout the golf course. The trash cans were maintained by a staff of 10 throughout the entire tournament. At the end of the day, our team removed the entire trash receptacle and disposed of the trash at a local landfill. Also included in the contract, ERDC cleaned and disinfected the clubhouse, tables and chairs, bathrooms, and other high traffic areas.
THE ECONOMICS:
By renting a tent, and hiring auxiliary cleaning services from ERDC, The Tournament saved thousands of dollars a year vs doing the cleaning in house, or hiring a janitorial service. By bundling our services, the Tournament did not have to pay new delivery fees or taxes or labor.
